Phil joined the University of Gloucestershire on a rugby league scholarship after featuring for Gloucestershire Warriors in 2011 and proved an instant success in the BUCS side that won the title in 2012/13.
The 24-year old from Greater Manchester has missed just five of the All Golds’ 68 matches since their first professional game in 2013 and is the club’s all-time leading try-scorer with 23 touchdowns.
An ever-present in 2015, Phil covered all the back positions and was equally at home wherever he was selected.
