The All Golds are delighted to announce a change in our backroom staff, with Issie McLachlan Clark stepping forward as our new Head of Medical.

Last season, Issie worked closely with our medical team and Ian Dowling, who has decided to step down from post due to other commitments. We thank you Ian for all your great work last season and wish you the best for the future!

Head of Rugby, Simon Martin has expressed his joy with the new appointment:

“Really pleased for Issie to step up into this role of Head of Medical. Issie had a great first season last year with both the All Golds & Golden Ferns where she showcased her skills, knowledge, and professionalism. We look forward to working her again and the rest of the medical staff this season”

Since joining us last year, Issie has completed her BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree at Hartpury University, qualifying as a Personal Trainer and working as Sports Therapist with local Rugby Union club, Bristol Saracens RFC.

“I’m super excited to be stepping forward into the lead medical role this season, I had the most fantastic time working with All Golds last year who were welcoming, supportive, and truly made me feel like part of the team. It’s an honour and a privilege to continue supporting men and women’s rugby league in the South-West, and I look forward to the new challenge of taking on a lead role.”
