The All Golds have obtained the services of one of the nation’s top sporting talents, Danny Wilson, Director of Rugby Development, at Super League club, Hull FC.

Danny, a highly qualified coach at level 4, will join the All Golds’ board as a Non – Executive Director.  All Golds’ chairman Lionel Hurst is full of praise for Hull owner Adam Pearson,

We have studied Danny’s track record for some considerable time and are delighted to secure his services.The imposition of our Player Performance Pathway: Primary to Professional is a paramount consideration. His remit will encompass all aspects at both our Bristol and Gloucester bases. “

Wilson is a dedicated and charismatic leader with a track record for building high-performance academy systems. He has outstanding analytical skills with the vision and capacity to implement change. Moreover he is highly skilled in elite coaching and talent development. Hurst continues,

“We are keen for Danny to emulate his role at the famous Hull club, which has significant links to our region, where he is briefed to design and lead the club’s strategy of all rugby development programmes from grassroots to first team. Thus he oversees the high performance teams at academy, women’s,wheelchair and disability pathways.”

In addition to his club duties Danny is England Youth head coach, a member of the Super League laws committee and a Rugby Football League Coach Educator.  Whilst head of Hull FC Academy, Wilson ensured they graduated from good to outstanding after 12 months. In addition he fulfilled the vital criterion of populating the first XIII with local talent. Danny is thrilled to be part of the Bristol and Gloucester project,
